BBC Radios 2 and 3 are preparing to celebrate the Fourth Annual BBC Jazz Awards, a celebration of the continuing strength and rising recognition of British Jazz. Your hosts will be acclaimed singers (and BBC Jazz presenters) Claire Martin and Ian Shaw.

Ian Shaw As well as hosting this year's awards, Ian Shaw will be taking one home with him! This was his third nomination for Best Vocalist, and as collaborator with everyone from Fairground Attraction to Cleo Laine to avant gardists Phil Minton and Lol Coxhill he's proved himself as an individual and in-demand talent.
