Although still a teen, Daisy is no stranger to the stage, having landed the part of “Young Cosette” in the touring production of Les Miserables. At nine years old, Daisy had received her first professional paycheck courtesy of Cameron MacIntosh, the eminent theatre impresario. Several years training as a Cathedral Chorister followed. The BBC made good use of Daisy’s singing and acting skills in many ways from radio plays, television series’, as a Newsround reporter covering the Smash Hits Pop Poll Awards, and for Children in Need, recording a hit single with Martine McCutcheon. Daisy was awarded a BBC Fame Academy bursary to purchase a guitar, which Jon Lee presented to her on the Palace Theatre stage after his performance as Marius in Les Miserables.

Matthew Kelly’s Stars in their Eyes Kids, Granada Television, showcased Daisy to an audience of six million viewers, singing as the young Judy Garland with “You Made Me Love You”. Ray Monk, Musical Director, remarked during rehearsals on “Daisy’s distinctive voice”.

The Edinburgh Festival of Jazz and Blues provided an education in itself with Daisy hearing and meeting such greats as Sheila Jordan, Carol Kidd, Barbara Morrison, Claire Martin, Stacey Kent, Rebecca Kilgore and Clare Teal.

Daisy toured with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland as their first ever vocalist in 2003. Kenny Mathieson, music critic, wrote in the press after her performance at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama “She did enough to suggest that she will make her marks in years to come”.

Daisy featured in The Ladies of Jazz Concert during the Edinburgh Jazz Festival in 2004 backed by the Tom Finlay trio. Following the jazz festival she was asked to take part in Todd Gordon’s Sophisticated Ladies Jazz Cabaret during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival supported by a trio with the unstoppable David Patrick on piano, Adam Sorenson, a superb drummer from New York, and Andy Sharkey, an energetic bass player from Glasgow. She was thrilled when Alan Barnes sat in on one session with his soprano saxophone. This run allowed Daisy to gain the confidence to record the numbers she performed with additional encouragement from Los Angeles based diva Barbara Morrison in the audience who told Daisy to “Do it NOW!!!”

Daisy is now also part of the "All Angels" singing group.
